Hospital further alters visitor options to enhance safety

Due to a continued high number of COVID-positive admissions to enhance patient and visitor safety and support, effective Saturday, August 14, each COVID-positive or COVID rule-out patient on the non-critical-care inpatient units may have one visitor only per day. Additionally, visiting hours have been modified to 4 to 6 p.m. only. For COVID-positive patients in the ICU, we are no longer allowing visitors. Exceptions will be allowed for end-of-life situations or other circumstances deemed therapeutic by the healthcare team.

COVID-positive and COVID rule-out patients in the Emergency Department may each have one visitor per day with travel limited to going to the patient’s room.

All other visitation guidelines remain the same. We appreciate your patience as we continue to evaluate patient volumes and staffing to ensure we maintain the safest environment for our patients and staff.
