Long-time athletic trainer retires

Steve and Golf Cart
Columbus Regional Health wants to wish long-time, dedicated athletic trainer Steve Souder congratulations and wish him well on his retirement after 43 years of service to our community. Souder retires this month, leaving behind a legacy of service and inspiration to multiple generations of high school athletes in the Bartholomew County community.

Through the CRH program, Steve served as an athletic trainer at Columbus North High School. He was an inspiration and leader to new athletic trainers over the years and an unwavering, calm support to all the student athletes he cared for. His simple moto, "If it hurts, don't do it," will adorn the back of an official Steve Souder Golf Cart that the high school dedicated to Steve at a surprise retirement party in late June.

Thank you for your years of caring, compassion and expertise, Steve, and your CRH family wishes you all the best in your retirement!
