Home January, 2024 - Tiffany Haynes, RN, 3T by Laker, J. | Feb 15, 2024 (?) (?) (?) Please share your story of why your nurse is so special:“I want to start by saying this nurse was amazing and always made sure I was okay. Right away she took her time, and formed a connection. She also communicated great with me. She took her time doing her assessment and she answered all of my questions thoroughly. When I had to go to surgery, she made sure to update my husband and keep him well informed on my status. He really appreciated that and so did I. There were a few times I was really struggling and Tiffany came in and tried to cheer me up. During my stay, I ended up needing a blood transfusion. Keep in mind I’ve never had one before so I was absolutely terrified. It may sound silly but this was all new to me. Tiffany did a fantastic job of keeping me calm and following procedure on giving blood. This nurse made sure to explain everything very well which gave me a sense of comfort. It means a lot to me and my family, that Tiffany made it a priority to make sure I was good at all times. Now I realize this should be how each patient experiences things when there are in a hospital, but that’s just simply not the case. So when nurses go the extra mile I want that to be RECOGNIZED and rewarded. I felt relief with having Tiffany as my nurse. Thank you for everything. You are like family to us now.
