Total Solar Eclipse

Add this event to your calendar

Did you know that this will be the first time Indiana has experienced totality since the year 1204 and the last time until year 2153? Join Columbus, Indiana for a viewing of the Solar Eclipse on April 8th, 2024. The beginning view of a partial eclipse will start around 1:50pm. The beginning of totality will take place at 3:06pm and the ending of totality following at 3:10pm. The complete ending of the partial eclipse will then take place at 4:36pm.

Be sure to wear protective eye gear when viewing the eclipse! It is important that you use proper eclipse viewing glasses instead of regular glasses or sunglasses. Be sure to not stare directly at the sun and to give your eyes breaks when needed.
