Join us for a FREE Facebook Live event on the Columbus Regional Health's Facebook page to learn about sepsis, what causes it, why it is so important to be on the lookout for it, and what treatment is available from Columbus Regional Health.

Everyone has heard about medical emergencies such as a heart attack and stroke, but did you know that sepsis is a medical emergency as well?  Sepsis is the body’s extreme response to an infection.  Sepsis happens when an infection you already have triggers a chain reaction throughout your body.  We will discuss the importance of early recognition and treatment of sepsis.
