The breast cancer treatment journey can be overwhelming, from diagnosis through treatment.  Columbus Regional Health and Pink Ribbon Connection are helping give breast cancer patients the support they need through Peer Counseling. Peer counselors provide breast cancer patients with a sympathetic ear, support and information from the perspective of someone “who’s been there.”

Where:  Columbus Regional Hospital, Meeting Room 1 in the Innovation Center (basement).

Who:   All breast cancer survivors who have been out of treatment for one year or more are invited to come learn how to be a peer counselor.

Trainer:  Dr. Christine Ward, Psychologist
