Childbirth Education Classes for Expectant Parents

There are two class options that are offered at NO COST to the expectant parents.

  • A two-hour class that will meet four times (the first four Wednesdays of the month)
  • One eight-hour class that will meet on Saturday once a month

The expectant parent can bring one support person with them to the class. The support person can change from week to week, but only one support person may attend each week.

All classes will be held at Columbus Regional Hospital in the Innovation Center. Use Entrance 3, turn left, and follow the hallway down to where you see the elevators on your right. Take the elevator down to the basement, and there will be signage when you exit that directs you to the classes.

To sign up, call Centralized Scheduling at 812.376.5500 and remain on the line to speak with a live person. The scheduler will reserve space in the class of the expectant parent’s choice.
