MyChart Hello World

Overview

Introducing Hello World, a new, more convenient way for patients to receive information and messages from Columbus Regional Health. Coming on November 12, 2024, patients who have opted to receive text messages from Columbus Regional Health will soon see a new number popping up on their mobile phone screens, inviting them to join Hello World.

This platform will replace CRH’s former mobile phone and text messaging service. It is a Short Messaging Service (SMS) that provides more customizable, timely, and convenient communication related to a variety of care and service options such as appointment confirmation and reminders, medication follow-ups, and billing schedules, etc.

How it works

Hello World works seamlessly with your Epic MyChart; however, one need not be a MyChart user to sign up. Here’s how it works: Patients who previously had opted to receive messages from CRH, will receive a text from the SMS code: 64693, with an invitation to join. Even though a patient had opted into the previous service, they will need to “opt-in” again to utilize the new service.

Patients who have not received text messages from Columbus Regional Health may sign up for Hello World by texting 64693 with the word START, or asking your care provider for assistance during your next appointment. Patients can customize their communication settings regarding language preference, subject-matter type, frequency, and more.

Depending on the patient’s mobile phone plan, message and data rates may apply. For more information or to sign up visit mychart.crh.org
