Biography
Jason W. Christie, M.D., started at Southern Indiana Surgery in 2013. Two years later in 2015, Dr. Christie was appointed director of vascular services.
Dr. Christie received his M.D. from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed general surgery training at Wake Forest University where he obtained a vascular surgery fellowship. He spent a year of researching renal artery disease at Wake Forest.
Dr. Christie’s wife, Jennifer, boasts strong ties to the Columbus community through her grandmother, Dorothy Amuth. Dorothy served on the Columbus Regional Health board of directors for many years.
Dr. Christie is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing and boating.
