Jacob Venesky, MD

Dr. Venesky is a Board-certified OB/GYN. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, he attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, then completed residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio. During his residency Dr. Venesky served as Administrative Chief Resident and was honored with numerous accolades, including the Arnold. P. Gold Humanism award. Upon completion of residency, he lived in Idaho Falls for five years working in private practice. In 2023 Dr. Venesky was the recipient of the Frist Humanitarian Award. He has also helped found Genesis Women’s Health Nonprofit Corporation, an organization dedicated to serving women through an independent midwifery model. Championing each patient’s autonomy and goals, improving outcomes through evidence-based education, and creating bonds of friendship and respect are at the heart of Dr. Venesky’s work.

Dr. Venesky enjoys all aspects of obstetrics and gynecology with a focus on routine and high-risk pregnancies. He has extensive experience in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including Da Vinci robotic surgery.
