FREE Clinical Breast Exam Screen

Add this event to your calendar

This year about 1 million Americans will develop breast cancer.  If detected early, 95% can be successfully treated.  Columbus Regional Health is hosting a FREE clinical breast exam to detect possible breast cancer and to provide referrals for those who may need a follow-up mammogram.

Should you be screened?
If you are age 40 or older and answer “yes” to all of the following statements, you should register today for your FREE exam:

1)  I have not had a breast exam or mammogram within the last 12 months.
2)  I do not have health insurance or my insurance does not cover screenings.
3)  I do not have a pre-existing breast condition or I have not been treated for breast
cancer in the past 5 years.

If you are someone with dense breast tissue or a family history of breast cancer, we especially encourage you to consider a screening.

Meet the skilled physicians conducting the screenings:
Dr. Carlos Vieira, MD, Fellowship Trained Breast Surgeon
Sasha Edmondson, Family Nurse Practitioner
Dr. Mark Henderson, MD, Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Stephanie Wagner, MD, Medical Oncologist
Dr. Martha Dwenger, MD, Radiologist, Breast Health Center
Danielle Keach, Nurse Practitioner, MyCare Family Med
Dr. Rachel Reed, MD, Obstetrics & Gynecology, OB/GYN Assoc of Columbus

Registration is required and appointments are limited.  Please call 812-376-5744. You will be assigned a specific appointment time at registration.  On the day of the event, please arrive 20 minutes early at the CRH Breast Surgery Practice to get checked-in. Appointments last approximately 20 - 30 minutes.  Same-day referrals will be made for patients requiring follow-up appointment.
