BACON-WRAPPED BREAD STICKS

Ingredients:
8 Slices turkey bacon
16 garlic–flavored bread sticks (about 8 inches long) or pretzel rods
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional) or garlic and herb seasoning
Steps:
- Cut turkey bacon slices in half lengthwise.
- Wrap half slice of turkey bacon diagonally around each bread stick.
- Combine Parmesan cheese, parsley and garlic and herb seasoning, if desired, in a shallow dish; set aside.
- Place 4 bread sticks on double layer of paper towel in microwave oven.
- Microwave on high (Full Power) 2 to 3 minutes or until turkey bacon is cooked through.
- Immediately roll bread sticks in Parmesan mixture to coat. Repeat with remaining bread sticks.
