Biography
Anton J. Koopman, M.D. has been practicing medicine in Columbus, Indiana since 1991.
Dr. Koopman received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rose Hulman in 1984. He attended medical school and received his MD degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1988. Dr. Koopman completed his internship/residency in Family Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital and Health Center in 1991. Upon completing his residency he founded Koopman Family Medicine, and in 2017 his practice combined with Columbus Family Medicine. Dr. Koopman became Board Certified in Family Medicine in 1991.
Dr. Koopman and his wife have 5 children. He enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking, golf, fishing, music and cooking. He and his family are members of St. Peters Lutheran Church.
